About the BOV - This initiative was created by Veterans - for Veterans that want to own a business. This is NOT a government program. This initiative is sponsored and 100% funded by individual members of The Veterans Franchise Council.
Interested Veterans first need the financial ability to purchase a franchise - but could also use up to $10,000 in gifted working capital. This is not a free business give-away. This is private grant money that will provide 100 entrepreneurial Veterans with additional business funding they do not have to re-pay.

The Veterans journey to owning a franchise follows a clear path that many others have walked before. Over 100,000 franchises in America are now Veteran owned.
Veteran Friendly Franchises
Many franchisors give Veterans huge discounts on franchise fees or royalties. This can easily amount to tens of thousands of dollars in bottom-line profits. These discounts combined with up to $10k in ‘BOV 100’ grant money can make a big difference. We seek out these opportunities for Veterans.
What is the best Franchise?
Clearly the best business for one person is not the best business for another. Which franchise business best fits a particular Veteran? Which franchise best fits one’s interests, skills, location, and family? We will work hand in hand with each Veteran to find franchises that best suit them.
Veterans & Active Duty
‘Bet on a Vet 100’ is open to all honorably discharged Veterans of the US Armed Forces as well as active-duty US military. The initiative will end after 100 Veterans have opened businesses and received grants.
